Does rogaine really work?

I guess im the odd ball of my family because both my brothers are well in thier 30 and still have full heads of hair. But me I am 23 and starting to loose it. I just got out the marines and when I was in it was fine. But now im loosing it steadily. So anyways I was just wondering if anyone has tried roagaine or any other hairloss remedys that have really worked.
