Need help...Please!!...who sings this song???

i heard a 5 second clip of a song recently...i just heard the "without you" part and i don't really know if its a remix of U2's with or without you. it's a slow, techno kind of song, i used to hear it a lot before but now i just can't figure out who sings it and everyone that i asked so far has not been able to help me. please please help me out, its really bugging me!
