Abut medicaid?

Can I apply for Temporary medicaid to help pay for treatment for my disabilities ADD,Bipolar, and depression because the free care I am getting it is not providing me with the top quality medication to help with my symptoms as for if I was on medicaid my doctor told me I do'nt qualify for the best due to me not being on medicaid or insured what do you think?
