I really like this guy...but I do not know him. Could you give me some guidance here? ?

Okay, so there is this guy- Max. I reallllly lke him but I don't know him. Well, I know about him- he had a disease and was in the hospital and skipped 8th grade becuz of it. And I have heard he's nice and stuff. So I want to know him. How should I do that? Thank you guys and merry christmas!
