Phi Theta Kappa benefits?

So I'm inducted into Phi Theta Kappa officially and I just finished my first two years at college and now I should be transferring on to finish my last 2 years. But for reasons I won't discuss here (and would like no opinions on) I'm not continuing on with school right away. That's not to say I'll never return, but in the case I do return will my PTK benefits still be active? I mean, that if I ever do need to use them for a reference, will they still be available even though I took that break in between?
